COACHING

Maximize your potential with a coach.

There is learning in every moment, and you want to seize those moments. A coach is watching from the sidelines to notice what you might miss, suggest alternative approaches, support needed skills development, and provide feedback as you learn. They can be an intimate ally for personal growth and private discussions and a motivating presence for your entire organization as well.

Individual Coaching

One-on-one coaching is a proven way to deepen and accelerate professional development.

A coach helps an individual work smarter not harder. Whether the focus is personal mastery, performance improvement, or how to lead organizational change, a coach offers a unique kind of relationship. They bring a safe context, reliable framework, and proven practices that ensure an individual will step into more of their potential and generate more value for the organization. When paid for by an employer, coaching objectives are usually identified by the individual with input from their supervisor. The focus of development can also be informed by a 360-degree survey.

Team Coaching

Team learning is essential for high performance and to benefit from a group’s collective intelligence.

A team coach can strengthen the systems and processes upon which every team depends. Our coaches draw upon a suite of reliable methods and tailor their approach to each group. For example, when patterns of interaction hinder performance or problem solving, we teach team members specific skills for courageous conversations. Sometimes we utilize video review, similar to the way athletic teams employ “game films” to isolate and practice priorities for improvement. When follow-through or quality concerns cause friction, we introduce protocols to boost accountability. We can even coach you in ways to replace the blame game with effective renegotiations when plans fall short or timelines slip. Most important, to prevent teams from settling on well-intentioned but short-sighted solutions, we teach the team proven practices for scenario thinking, self-reflection, and situational awareness.

Coaching Packages

One coach working with multiple staff is a cost-effective strategy that pays dividends.

Without breaching confidentiality, when a coach works across the organization, they can leverage their knowledge of key relationships to the benefit of all. They can work with your team just as an athletic coach can teach different players to work together for maximum personal fulfillment and collective results. It can also work to have more than one coach work with your staff. However, beware of inviting coaches into your organization who bring competing approaches. Our coaches share the same core principles, subscribe to a common coaching approach, and support one another’s ongoing efforts.

Very few organizations can afford to hire even one full-time top tier coach. However, by establishing a part-time retainer relationship, you can access the expertise of one of our most experienced coaches, and you can do so at a reduced price in exchange for a commitment of at least six months. The longer the time commitment, and the more coaching assignments per engagement, the better the price. Bottom line: we will be happy to work with you to craft an arrangement that meets your needs for developing your leaders without breaking your budget.
